About our speakers:
Christina Hobbs is a Co-Founder and the CEO of Verve Super, Australia's first ethical superannuation fund tailored for women. Christina received her Bachelor of Commerce in 2006 and her Bachelor of Science in 2005 from the ANU. She is an experienced Board Director in the superannuation industry and a former Deloitte Management Consultant. Prior to founding Verve, Christina worked for over a decade as a humanitarian and financial inclusion expert for the United Nations. She is a former Board Director of the Global Women's Project and a published author on gender equality.
Dr Anna von Reibnitz is a Senior Lecturer in Finance and the Finance Masters Convenor within the Research School of Finance, Actuarial Studies and Statistics. She received her PhD in Finance in 2013 from the ANU, as well as Bachelor degrees in Economics and Commerce, graduating with First Class Honours in Finance and a University Medal. Anna’s research interests include funds management, corporate disclosure and market efficiency, and her work has been accepted into top international academic journals, including the Critical Finance Review. Her industry experience includes working with the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Department of the Treasury, Schroders and Continuity Capital Partners.
