The CBE Careers and Student Employability team have a longstanding relationship with Strategy&, world-class management consultants, who mentor participating SIP students with their cases.
Working under their guidance, participating students not only identified issues facing their client and searched for business solutions, but they also learned valuable lessons from the experienced professionals at Strategy&.
Semester 2, 2020
Students worked with Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation to discover the capacity of Australians, and specifically Australian Public Servants and Defence Force Members, to invest in their retirement over the course of their lifetime, assigning a score-based metric to optimise their retirement outcomes.

Students worked with Twofold Aboriginal Corporation to implement a multipurpose platform that sustains Jigamy as a regional centre for Indigenous culture through the organisation of the Giiyong Festival and related cultural and ecotourism activities.

Students worked with the Royal Australian Mint on the interplay between the use of cash (coins specifically) and the impact that this may have on the collectable coins business line over the next decade.

Students worked with Meat and Livestock Australia on an opportunity to delve deeper into the prospects for specific red meat products such as Wagyu, Angus; products with specific attributes such as higher marbling; grass-fed, natural or organic offerings; and niche or unique cuts.

Students worked with St John Ambulance on various transformation projects to eliminate the financial and cultural pressures faced by the organisation, and looking for ways to modernise it.
