- Advised APT Satellite (China’s first commercial satellite company) from its inception to the launch of its first satellite - 1992
- Advised Rupert Murdoch on NewsCorp’s successful Chinese market re-entry - 1991
- Worked with two US lawyers to successfully settle the second largest insider trading case in the US securities history, on behalf of 25 Taiwanese defendants - 1988
- Advised a Hong Kong and Taiwanese consortium on the takeover of Allright Parking, a NYSE-listed company. This was the first international investment of its kind by an Asian group – 1982
