International Women’s Day (IWD) is a time to reflect on progress made, to call for change, and to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political contributions of women and girls around the world.
In 2024, IWD’s theme is:
Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.
Based on the priority theme for the United Nations’ 68th Commission on the Status of Women, Count Her In will examine the pathways to greater economic inclusion for women and girls everywhere.
At the ANU College of Business and Economics (CBE), we recognise and celebrate the accomplishments of our alumnae and researchers. They excel in their fields, share their expertise, and make extraordinary contributions – each and every day. We also celebrate the achievements of our students and graduates, who will shape the future.
