I was incredibly fortunate to be teamed up with a MomentuM Mentor who was invested greatly in my own professional development. Seeing his recommendations and feedback translate into success across my professional endeavours over the course of the semester was incredibly rewarding.
Q. What was the most challenging aspect of the MomentuM program for you, and what did you find most rewarding?
The most challenging aspect of the program was having to come out of my shell during the networking events and at the beginning of the mentorship. As I am naturally an introverted and reserved person, I struggled with this at the beginning of the program and worked hard to address this, especially during the speed mentoring event.
What stood out to me most was seeing how the provided resources, milestones [assessments] and mentor feedback and perspectives directly fed into my success at each workshop and in my professional endeavours. The combination of each of these aspects really allowed me to develop strategies and maximise these opportunities to the best of my abilities.
