
Academic and professional staff from The Australian National University (ANU) College of Business and Economics (CBE) have been recognised in the 2024 Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor awards, an annual celebration which acknowledges those who are excelling in their respective fields.
The awards honour contributions that advance teaching and research, as well as initiatives that create a more inclusive, open and respectful campus community.
CBE is proud to have several staff members receive awards in 2024.
- Vice Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Service, Innovation and Transformation: Leopold Zhou (RSM PhD student): part of the AI Support Tiger team, Centre for Learning and Teaching.
- CBE Student Experience team: Hiroki Ikedo, Haynes Crossley, Bernadette Hodge, Layla (Meichen) Liu, Wei Xiong, and Jill (Jinting) Fan.
- Clare Burton Award for Excellence in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Associate Professor Maria Racionero Llorente (part of the ANU Institute for Space).
- Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Educational Excellence: ANU Management Program in partnership with the National Indigenous Australians Agency – awarded to the teaching and student support team: Professor Asmi Wood, Ann Smith, Devin Clementi, Dr Katerina Kormusheva, Dr Lucy Morris, Benjamin Mitchell, Carlyn Waters, Haynes Crossley, Tanya Ali, Professor Vinh Lu, and Professor Steven Roberts.
Antoinette Bosman and Lorna Monaghan were also recognised for a remarkable 25 years of service to the University.
Dr Dana Hanna, CBE’s Associate Dean (Education) praised the College award winners.
