Biography

Laurence Field is a Lecturer of Statistics. His research interests lie in probability theory, stochastic processes, conformal invariance and statistical physics. Laurence has been working on aspects of the Schramm–Loewner evolution, including geometrical estimates of its behaviour in specific domains. He also examines Brownian motion and related measures on planar curves including Brownian excursion measures and loop measures, which have played a key role in the theory of conformal invariance. Laurence’s research has appeared in leading journals including Electronic Journal of Probability.
