Biography

Xiu-Ye Zhang is a Senior Lecturer of Accounting. Xiu’s research interests span financial reporting, financial analysis, internal control, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility. Xiu is particularly interested in investigating how materially negative corporate events such as Securities and Exchange Commission’s Enforcement Actions, accounting frauds, financial restatements, internal control deficiencies disclosure under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Security Class Action Lawsuits, and environmental violations affect her areas of research interest. Xiu’s work has been published in academic journals including Journal of Business Finance and AccountingThe British Accounting Review and European Financial Management.
