Biography

My research focuses on the role played by innovative business models in addressing societal challenges. In particular, I explore the interaction between organisational hybridity, resource constraints, and social complexity and their effects on social outcomes using social capital and capability approaches. My  research has been published in many top-ranked journals including Organization Science (ABDC Rank: A*; FT-50), Journal of Management Studies (ABDC Rank: A*; FT-50), Organization Studies (ABDC Rank: A*; FT-50) Journal of Business Venturing (ABDC Rank: A*; FT-50) and Journal of Business Ethics (ABDC Rank: A; FT-50).

I have also written various policy-relevant reports on social impact assessment, social finance, and social inclusiveness during my affiliation with the Carleton Center for Community Innovation, Canada and the United Nation Research Institute for Social Development.
