Bronwen Whiting is the Associate Dean (Education) for the ANU College of Business and Economics. In this capacity, Bronwen manages the College’s education portfolio, working directly with the College Dean and the Executive. Bronwen is also a Senior Lecturer in Statistics. Her research applies statistical techniques to diverse areas including linguistics, mental health, insurance, and oil prices. She has also published in areas relating to her passion – teaching statistics at all levels. Bronwen’s work has been published in academic journals including Journal of Forecasting, Linguistic Typology and Language.
