Applied Economics

Econometrics is at the core of the programs offered in this area:

Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics

The Graduate Diploma in Applied Economics is equivalent to one year of full time study.   Students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 70% can transfer into the Master degree.

Master of Applied Economics

The Master of Applied Economics is equivalent to one year of full time study.  Students intending to apply for the degree need to have an honours degree in economics (IIA or above) or completed the Graduate Diploma with a Grade Point Average of 70%.

Economic Theory

Economic theory is at the core of the programs offered in this area:
 

Graduate Diploma in Economics

The Graduate Diploma in Economics is equivalent to one year of full time study.   Students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 70% can transfer into the Master degree.

Master of Economics

The Master of Economics is equivalent to one year of full time study.  Students intending to apply for the degree need to have an honours degree in economics (IIA or above) or completed the Graduate Diploma with a Grade Point Average of 70%.

Economic History

Graduate Diploma in Economic History

This Diploma includes coursework and a research component.

Economic Policy

Economic Modelling is at the core of the programs offered in this area:


Graduate Certificate in Economic Policy

The Graduate Certificate in Economic Policy is designed for those without prior economics training or whose economics training is distant or minimal.

Graduate Diploma in Economic Policy

The Graduate Diploma in Economic Policy is equivalent to one year of full time study.   Students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 70% can transfer into the Master degree.

Master of Economic Policy

Health Economics

This program offers students an opportunity to develop postgraduate skills in economics while specialising in the application of economics to problems in health and health care.

Master of Health Economics

The Master of Health Economics is a equivalent to one year of full time study. Students intending to apply for the degree need to have an honours degree in economics (IIA or above) or completed the Graduate Diploma with a Grade Point Average of 70%.

International Trade

International trade, finance and microeconomics are at the core of the programs which are jointly run with Crawford School of Economics and Government:

Graduate Diploma in International Trade and Economic Relations

The Graduate Diploma in International Trade and Economic Relations is equivalent to one year of full time study.   Students who achieve a Grade Point Average of 70% can transfer into the Master degree.

Master of International Trade and Economic Relations

The Master of International Trade and Economic Relations is equivalent to one year of full time study.  Students intending to apply for the degree need to have an honours degree in economics (IIA or above) or completed the Graduate Diploma with a Grade Point Average of 70%.

Developmental Economics

Graduate Certificate in International and Development Economics

The certificate is equivalent to one semester of full time, and is offered through the Crawford School of Economics and Government.

Graduate Diploma of International and Development Economics

This Graduate Diploma is equivalent to one year of full time study, and is offered through the Crawford School of Economics and Government.

Master of International and Development Economics

This Master degree is the equivalent of one year full time study and it is offered through the Crawford School of Economics and Government.

Master Diplomacy/Master of International and Development Economics (combined degree)

This combined Masters degree is equivalent to 18 months full time study.  It is offered through the Crawford School of Economics and Government as well as the Asia-Pacific School of Diplomacy.
