What is business information systems?

The study of business information systems is designed to develop skills and competencies in students that will enable them to embark upon a professional career in the ICT, information systems and associated industries.

Specifically students develop skills in the analysis, design, specification and implementation of information systems in addition to understanding the financial and other resources required to assist organizations to effectively utilise information systems and technologies.

Business Information Systems can be taken as a major at ANU within the Bachelor of Commerce.

Accreditation 

The Business Information Systems major within the Bachelor of Commerce can be structured so that is it recognized by the Australian Computer Society, however, professional accreditation is not required for practicing in the profession.
